A Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that products, services, or systems meet consistent standards of quality. in manufacturing, his job is to catch flaws before customers do.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures and systems for lighting products.
- Inspect production processes and perform product testing to ensure compliance with technical specifications and international standards (e.g., IEC, ISO).
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare quality reports, analyze performance data, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review product certifications and test results (e.g., energy efficiency, IP ratings, etc.).
- Oversee final product inspections before delivery to customers.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of QA experience in relevant industry.
- Passion for software products

Experience with quality inspection tools and measurement equipment.
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for Saudi Arabia
- Attention to detail – spotting inconsistencies others might miss.
- Analytical thinking – interpreting data and identifying trends.
- Communication – clearly reporting issues and working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with QA tools – like JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, or Postman.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have
- Certifications like ISTQB, CSPO, or Six Sigma are a plus.
- Additional languages
- Strong grasp of regulatory environments (e.g., FDA, ISO, GDPR).
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with international lighting standards (e.g., ENEC, UL, DLC).
