The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations, including procurement, inventory management, transportation coordination, and supplier relationship management. This position requires collaboration with multiple departments to ensure seamless logistics support for ongoing lighting projects while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize the supply chain process for lighting materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products required for lighting installations and projects.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes, ensuring product availability for project timelines.
  • Analize logistical data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare performance reports on logistics operations for senior management.
  •   Work closely with project managers to understand specific project requirements and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations related to transportation and import/export activities.
  • Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and evaluate their performance.
  • Conduct logistics risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Experience 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems
  • Valid work permit for Saudi Arabia

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in the lighting, construction, or engineering industry is a strong advantage.
  •  Hands-on experience with advanced ERP systems such as Odoo.
  • Background in contract negotiation with vendors and logistics service providers.
  • Proficiency in a second language (Arabic, English, or others) for effective communication with international suppliers.
